Information For Artists

Having proudly completed its 40th year of continuous publication with the 2026 edition (Growth and Change), the Multifaith Calendar is honoured and privileged to be able to continue to celebrate and showcase the work of artists from across the globe with it's upcoming 41st anniversary edition for 2027.

The MFC is published by the Multifaith Action Society, a non-profit organization committed to building and strengthening the bridges between communities.

A unique and invaluable educational resource, our Multifaith Calendar combines both beauty and substance. It identifies and provides descriptions for dates of significance for 14 world religions and also brings together visual art from many cultural and spiritual backgrounds in a broad array of artistic styles and mediums. This offers the public an opportunity to enjoy art from faiths and cultures they may not normally come across in their daily lives.

MAS wants to extend its gratitude to all of the artists who submitted pieces for the 2026 Multifaith Calendar and looks forward to incoming submissions for the upcoming 2027 edition.

The theme for the upcoming 2027 Multifaith Calendar is: Moments of Hope

Each year the Multifaith Action Society invites artists to submit works of art for publication in our upcoming Multifaith Calendar. This theme is open to a wide variety of interpretations - and that very fact - leaves open the possibility for a rich array of artistic submissions.

Note to artists: Artists are invited to submit up to five (5) images. Work on the theme can be in any medium and the interpretation of the theme will be determined by the overall collection of images received.

Our aim is to produce a Calendar that will showcase a variety of interpretations on our theme while creating a visually cohesive publication. We encourage all artists to submit images, including artists who have had their work showcased in past Multifaith Calendars.

Note: We cannot guarantee that submissions made after the deadline will be veted.

Final 2027 Multifaith Calendar artwork will be selected by end of April 2026 and we will contact all artists again at that time to let everyone know the results of our selection process.
